Iva Hayesiana (5 Gallon) 'San Diego Marsh-elder'

About this item

Also know as San Diego Marsh-elder.

A versatile and underused evergreen groundcover, this exceptionally hardy plant is an excellent choice for challenging landscape conditions. Adaptable to a wide range of soils, from sandy to heavy, it establishes readily and thrives with minimal maintenance. Highly drought tolerant, it also tolerates occasional excess moisture, making it well suited to low-lying areas. Its spreading habit makes it particularly useful for erosion control on slopes and banks. In spring, tiny yellow flowers add a cheerful splash of color to its evergreen foliage.
