Arstostaphylos 'Lester Rowntree' Manzanita (1 Gallon)

About this item

A distinctive California native prized for its graceful, open branching, polished mahogany-red bark, and soft gray-green foliage, Lester Rowntree Manzanita brings year-round structure and understated elegance to the garden. Delicate blush-pink flowers appear in winter, followed by berry-like fruits that offer seasonal nourishment for birds and local wildlife. Beautifully suited to Mediterranean-inspired landscapes, naturalistic plantings, and water-wise gardens, this sculptural evergreen thrives in exceptionally well-drained soil. Provide deep, occasional irrigation during establishment; once established, it flourishes with minimal supplemental water.
